Our Identity

One team for the entire blockchain product lifecycle.

Blocksmith Works handles architecture, smart contracts, application development, integrations, testing and production delivery. You work with one senior team from the first whiteboard sketch to mainnet — no handoffs between disconnected vendors.

Process

How we build.

Six stages from first call to mainnet. Select a stage to see what happens.

STAGE 01

Discovery

Understand the business model, users, blockchain requirements and constraints. We map what must live on-chain versus what belongs in conventional systems — and say no when blockchain is the wrong tool.

Output: scope document, network recommendation, fixed estimate.

STAGE 02

Architecture

Define contracts, data flow, integrations, infrastructure and product architecture. Every contract boundary, event schema and upgrade path is decided before code starts.

Output: architecture diagram, contract specs, threat model draft.

STAGE 03

Design

Design the dApp experience, interaction flows and technical UI system. Wallet onboarding, signing states and failure recovery are prototyped and tested with real users.

Output: clickable prototype, component system, UX test report.

STAGE 04

Development

Build smart contracts, frontend, backend, integrations and infrastructure in weekly releasable increments, with tests written alongside every contract.

Output: working testnet build, coverage report, demo cadence.

STAGE 05

QA and Security

Test contracts, permissions, transactions, integrations, performance and failure paths. Fuzz testing, access-control verification and independent review preparation.

Output: test matrix sign-off, review-ready package, deployment runbook.

STAGE 06

Launch and Support

Deploy, monitor, document and continue improving the product. Guarded launches, on-call coverage and a handover your team can actually run.

Output: mainnet deployment, monitoring dashboards, ops docs.

Security Practice

Security is part of the build.

Every contract system passes through nine checks before mainnet. Formal third-party audits are arranged through independent partner firms when your risk profile calls for one.

Threat modeling

Attacker goals, trust boundaries and abuse cases mapped per system.

Contract architecture review

Boundaries, privileges and upgrade paths reviewed by a second engineer.

Unit testing

Branch-level coverage of every function and access path.

Integration testing

Contracts, indexers and frontends tested together on forks.

Fuzz testing

Invariant and stateful fuzz suites run in CI on every change.

Access-control verification

Role matrices executed against deployed bytecode, not just source.

Static analysis

Automated detectors gate every merge before human review.

Deployment verification

Constructor args, proxies and permissions checked on-chain post-deploy.

Monitoring

Event alerts and pause runbooks live from the first mainnet block.

Honest Take

Where blockchain is genuinely useful.

No revolution rhetoric — three situations where it earns its place.

01 / OWNERSHIP

Ownership

Programmable ownership and transparent asset records — from collectibles to fractional real-world assets.

02 / COORDINATION

Coordination

Shared infrastructure between independent participants who don't fully trust each other.

03 / SETTLEMENT

Settlement

Programmable financial and transactional systems that settle without intermediaries.

Client Words

Teams that shipped with us.

★★★★★
"Blocksmith's contract architecture caught edge cases our previous team never considered. The guarded launch plan alone was worth the engagement."
Elena MarshFounder, DeFi startup (Aurelia DEX)
★★★★★
"Clear communication every week, honest estimates, and an integration that went live without disrupting our existing platform."
Daniel OseiCTO, fintech company (ClearLedger)
★★★★★
"They think in systems, not tickets. The portfolio dashboard they built handles four networks and still loads in about a second."
Sofia LindqvistProduct Lead, digital asset platform (Vaultline)
★★★★★
"From factory contracts to the creator studio UI, they solved problems before we knew to ask. Our artists got paid automatically, on time."
James WhitfieldFounder, NFT infrastructure company (MintDock)
